Camfil Farr Aeropac ~ is unaffected by varying airflows or repeated start-ups and shut-downs. The media is resistant to extended periods of high humidity making the Aeropac an excellent choice for humid climates or moisture-laden conditions. HP Filter Elements

Camfil Farr HP filters are ideally suited to variable air volume systems, systems with turbulent airflow, or other applications where supported media is desirable. They are also a cost-conscious alternative to box style ASHRAE filters because only the media is changed since the media retainer assembly is an integral permanent component of the HVAC system. HP elements are available in the following efficiencies:

Each HP filter element has preformed, tapered pleats to ensure maximum utilization of media area and

Ultra Pak | MFG: Filter Sales and Service

Filter Sales Ultra-Pak ~ Frame: the frame is to be a rigid construction of26 gauge galvanized steel. A heavy gauge, galvanized steel header is optional on the Ultra Pak. Ultra Pak frames are available in two depths 11-1/2” or 5-7/8”. Pleas note these are exact depths. Standard tolerance will be +/- 1/16”. ~ Media pack: The filter media pack shall be constructed by pleating a continuous sheet of microfine synthetic media into uniformly spaced pleats, which are separated by frame retardant, plastic separators. A heavy-duty, thermo-setting adhesive to maintain continuity of the radial pleats. A high density, microfine glass media pack is also available. The expanded metal shall be galvanized to resist rust and corrosion. Metal vertical support brackets shall be utilized to stabilize the media pack and to prevent air bypass. The media will be adhesively bonded on all four sides of the frame to prevent air bypass. Four efficiency ranges are available: 40-45%, 60-65%, 80-85%, and 90-95%. Ultra Pak synthetic filters shall be rated Class 2 under U.L. Standard 900. ~ Separators: Material is to be heavy-gauge, frame retardant plastic. Separators are equipped with air disbursement slots and a rigid spine. The media separators maintain uniform spacing between each pleat to allow for unrestricted air flow. ~ Gasket: gasket material is optional. The placement options are air entry, air exit, air entry and exit. The gasket material is ¾” in width and ¼” in thickness. This resilient material makes for an excellent gasket, which discourages air bypass.

The frame limits service personnel’s exposure to contaminants by isolating the media during filter change. ~ Includes diagonal frame support members that maintain filter rigidity and squareness. Ashrae Cell | MFG: Filtration Group

The Aerostar HT ASHRAE Cell air filters are an extended surface, high temperature, high efficiency air filter constructed in a rigid frame. The filter utilises a continuous sheet of wet-laid microfibre media that is deep pleated.

Corrugated aluminium separators with hemmed edges are placed between each pleat to stabilise and support the media pack, ensuring proper laminar airflow through the filter. The filter pack is then placed in a galvanised (260 0C) or aluminised (400 0C) steel frame, a 16 gauge aluminised face-grill and a stiffened 18 gauge aluminised crossbar downstream. Air bypass is eliminated by sealing the filter pack with dual layer glass-mats on top and bottom of the frame.

Benefits

The sturdy design and excellent media quality allows placing the filters in high temperature applications of 260 or 400 degrees Celsius. A rigid aluminised 16 gauge expanded metal face grid prevents shifting or blowouts of the filter pack. This solid type of construction will also reduce possible damage to the filter during handling and shipping. The 400 degree Celsius rated filter will have all metal parts aluminised to prevent the possibility of flaking at high temperatures. Because no silicone is used in the assembling of the filters, they are suitable for applications where a silicone release is not permitted. Such as in automotive manufacturing plants and painting facilities.
